On Wednesday March 27th, the Wine and Tapas Host Committee gathered to express our admiration and gratitude for our distinguished honorees, Dr. Johnnie Frazier and the Honorable Win Frazier. The Fraziers have a long history of dedicated support of Bellaire Parks and green space. Johnnie and Win have been longtime supporters of PATRONS, Evelyn’s Park Conservancy, and the Nature Discovery Center with a long track record of volunteerism and support of our neighborhood parks. Win previously served as President of PATRONS, with Johnnie chairing multiple Wine and Tapas galas. They additionally have served as longtime members of the Nature Discovery Center Advisory Council. Win currently serves as Mayor Pro Tempore and Johnnie has continued her dedicated involvement in park fundraising post her retirement from medical practice.
Over light bites and wine, attendees received a sneak peek of the plans and decor for the upcoming Wine and Tapas "Masquerade Party" and were treated to themed gift bags as a token of appreciation from the PATRONS board.
